About Churchstarter

Churchstarter is powered by the Geneva Push: an Australian church planting network. We want to see hundreds of new churches evangelised into existence across Australia.

God is at work through church plants all over Australia. God’s intended vehicle to advance the gospel and grow believers into the image of Jesus is the church.  It is an exciting time. Prodigal sons are returning to churches. And churches are taking the Gospel urgently to the lost.

Churchstarter exists to make it easier for churches to engage church members, sending churches and supporters to fund new Gospel work across Australia.

How does it work?

Churchstarter provides a platform for churches to present their church's vision, engage their supporter base and raise the financial resources they need for mission.

What makes Churchstarter different?

People have been financially supporting churches from the first century. Paul writes to the Phillipian church:

And you Philippians know that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone. For even in Thessalonica you sent gifts for my need several times. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the profit that is increasing to your account. But I have received everything in full, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you provided—a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Philippians 4:15-20

More recently, crowdfunding has become a tool to envision the church to support churches near and far.  We believe Churchstarter will enable churches the best possible opportunity to raise the necessary financial support for church plant launches and key growth projects. Churchstarter aims to give churches the best possible chance of success. If you'd like to talk about a campaign, get in touch.
